I wish people would stop referring to it as the Harry Potter generation. It’s depressing.
It didn’t define my childhood, or my life now. It’s only a part of it because it’s been forced onto EVERY FUCKING BODY.
If I wish to read sub-par children’s books, I will. Otherwise, don’t force your rubbishy films onto me, please. It’s unkind. I understand a lot of people seem to like it, and that’s great, but I should be able to go about my daily life without having to see it and hear about it everywhere.
I would hope for people to start liking decent, vaguely more intelligent and/or thought-provoking stuff, but apparently the next generation has Twilight, so I suppose that’s a write-off.
